Sales Executive - Systems

POSITION INFO:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Phoning prospective clients and find out if they would be interested in certification with the company
• Setting up appointments with prospective clients for Certification – client visits
• Cross-selling of standards and training services, existing and new clients
• Receiving questionnaire and clarify any points prior to sending for scoping, save the questionnaire on the Z-drive
• Preparing ANKA sheet for quotations – man-day calculations
• Follow up on clients due for recertification cycle and send questionnaires to clients for completion and return for quote generation
• Following up on all quotations sent
• Following up on new client audit dates to ensure that these clients have booked dates. Only once the client has booked and confirmed audit dates, can it be counted as a new sale
• Prepare weekly highlights for Systems Manager, on Sales achieved
• Assist with following up on Audit Notifications sent to ensure 3 months in advance planning
• Follow up on web enquiries telephonically and client visits for Certification
• Attend weekly Sales meetings with Marketing and Sales Manager for updates
• Assist Marketing and Area Sales Manager when required
• Assisting clients, auditors and consultants with queries
• Informing the Back Office Systems Manager of customer complaints
• Attending staff meetings, auditor experience exchanges, customer focus days, and training sessions, as required by the Business Stream Manager and/or the Certification Manager
• Update weekly quote acceptance register and send to Back Office Systems Manager
• Meet monthly KPI’s as stipulated in contract
• Implement and adhere to the company’s group management system requirements

Single Assignments 

Beside the above listed job duties, special assignments have to be carried out based on the instructions of the direct superior.  Those special assignments are usually connected to above listed activities or those assignments are a result of company policy

EDUCATION 

Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and Marketing or relevant qualification in a technical discipline.  E.g. Engineering.

WORK EXPERIENCE 

At least 3 years’ Sales experience in a Technical Environment, preferably from the Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) Industry.
