Sales Executive - Print, Labeling and applications

Our client, a well-established and reputable packaging and industrial print company, seeks to employ an experienced, target driven and well presented Technical Sales Executive, who has gained 5+ years’ experience in cold calling, business development and sales of printing solutions, industrial labelling equipment and/or industrial application equipment.

This role is a work from home role, covering business development in the Eastern Cape, however you will be currently resident in the Eastern Cape and able to travel extensively across the region.

The ideal candidate will have a background in office automation or barcoding and imaging type applications and equipment

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION

• You must have a proven background in Technical Sales, from managing the full sales process, identifying new clients and developing business relationships to concluding the sales cycle, as well as prospecting and cold calling, following up on leads and building profitable relationships with existing and prospective new clients
• You must have a sound understanding of print and labeling machinery, networking systems and print inks/applications
• You will be administratively competent, able to analyze costing requirements and calculate costings, estimations and draft quotes.
• You will be fluent in English and Afrikaans – have effective communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as be proficient in drafting and presenting presentations to executives and decision makers at prospective clients.
• You will be able to travel nationally when required and have a valid, unendorsed driver’s license, coupled with a clear credit and criminal record, as well as contactable references (verifications will be conducted).
