SUMMARY:
This Specialist Environmental Management Services company, with a well-established footprint nationally, is looking for an energetic and motivated Senior Technical Sales/Pest Control Specialist servicing and managing the Hygiene, Turf Grass, Pest Control and Fumigation Markets in the Eastern Cape region, based in Port Elizabeth or East London.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required:
  • Matric.
  • Pest control - PCO Licensed? - this is essential
  • Sales/Marketing Diploma/Degree would be advantageous.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Hygiene, Turf Grass, Pest Control and Fumigation.
  • Minimum 5 year’s Technical Sales experience selling to these sectors.
  • Pest Control Certificates/licenses will be advantageous.
  • Previous people management experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Willing to travel within the region.
Job Purpose:
  • Manage the Eastern Cape operations – Sales, Admin, Stock Management, Customers, Financials, Reports).
  • People management.
  • Develop and grow sales in the Eastern Cape.
  • Develop sales strategies and action plans.
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers.
  • Offer technical support to existing and new customers.
  • Perform field trials on new and existing products.
  • Prospect for new business and assess clients’ requirements.
  • Carry out relevant market research.
  • Compile monthly/annual sales budget reports and forecasting.
  • Propose and make presentations to potential end-users.
