SUMMARY:
This Specialist Environmental Management Services company, with a well-established footprint nationally, is looking for an energetic and motivated Senior Technical Sales/Pest Control Specialist servicing and managing the Hygiene, Turf Grass, Pest Control and Fumigation Markets in the Eastern Cape region, based in Port Elizabeth or East London.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required:

Matric.
Pest control - PCO Licensed? - this is essential
Sales/Marketing Diploma/Degree would be advantageous.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Hygiene, Turf Grass, Pest Control and Fumigation.
Minimum 5 year’s Technical Sales experience selling to these sectors.
Pest Control Certificates/licenses will be advantageous.
Previous people management experience.
Proficient in MS Office.
Valid driver’s license.
Willing to travel within the region.

Job Purpose:

Manage the Eastern Cape operations – Sales, Admin, Stock Management, Customers, Financials, Reports).
People management.
Develop and grow sales in the Eastern Cape.
Develop sales strategies and action plans.
Maintain relationships with existing customers.
Offer technical support to existing and new customers.
Perform field trials on new and existing products.
Prospect for new business and assess clients’ requirements.
Carry out relevant market research.
Compile monthly/annual sales budget reports and forecasting.
Propose and make presentations to potential end-users.
