SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a Sales Executive for waste management and alternative solutions!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

a) Responsible for effective and efficient day-to-day sales, marketing and promotional functions in conjunction with management;
b) Development, implementation and management of sales procedures;
c) Meeting and knowing influential individuals in the waste business;
d) Ensuring that customers are given a professional and competitive service;
e) Developing and maintaining stable and satisfactory working relationships with customers;
f) With the assistance of the Sales Manager, addressing any major problems with customers;
g) Identifying and addressing recurring service problems;
h) With the assistance of the Sales Manager, ensuring that any complaints are dealt with in a satisfactory manner;
i) Guaranteeing and ensuring that customer satisfaction gets first priority;
j) Identifying and developing best possible service for key customers;
k) Ensuring that the Company does business with quality customers who will honour their contractual payment obligations;
l) Ensuring that daily sales sheets/stats are completed;
m) Ongoing gathering of information regarding sales methods and procedures;
n) Creating and maintaining an ongoing and acceptable high standard of service and ensuring that these working standards are met at all times;
o) Responsible for ensuring that all sales functions are carried out efficiently and effectively
p) Develop and implement business opportunities and responsible for the delivery of same;
q) Work Closely with the Technical, Manager, Logistical Manager, Treatment and Beneficiation leads and Tendering teams on quotations and opportunities

r) Promote value propositions of company with customers
s) Focus on maintaining and growing the client base
t) To devote all your time and attention during normal business hours, and such additional time and attention as the requirements of the Company''s business may reasonably require;
u) Conduct, improve, extend, develop, promote, protect and preserve the business interests, reputation and goodwill of the Company
v) Perform any other duties as required by your designated manager.

CRITICAL CROSS FIELD OUTCOMES:
a) Perform all duties as per latest ISO 14001, 45001 Quality Standard Requirements.
b) Function as part of a team.
c) Ensure total confidentiality of all information, internal and external, pertaining to the business ofthe Company, all its employees and management.
d) Communicate with stakeholders in a professional manner.
e) Maintain discipline in the organisation
f) Actively promote a positive working environment and a sense of belonging among all staff.
g) Participate fully in all training interventions made available and promote a culture of training and development within the company.
h) Become familiar with, comply with and promote all company policies, procedures and
administrative processes.
i) Utilise your work time gainfully and productively to meet the company’s objectives.
j) Promote a positive and professional company image at all times.

REQUIRED COMPETENCE AND/OR QUALIFICATIONS:
a) Minimum 3 related experience
b) Experience in the waste management industry would be preferable
c) Sales & Marketing or related qualification advantageous
d) Strong organization skills
e) Ability to work under pressure
f) Effective verbal and listening skills
g) Must be able to show initiative
