SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking a Sales Hunter for this newly created position. If you have B2B packaging / FMCG sales experience, the ability to articulate premium products and can grow the local market - We need to chat urgently!!!!

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications Experience and Skills Required

  • Relevant qualification essential
  • 5 to +10 years’ experience in packaging sales
  • Ability to understand and articulate premium products.
  • Public speaking and presentation skills required.
  • Hunter mentality with a proven track record to seek and develop new business.
  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment.
  • Solid business acumen
  • Strong understanding of key performance and sales metrics - (e.g. revenue, volume, and price, cost to serve, etc.)
  • Proficiency with technology to aid in selling: (e.g. PowerPoint, Excel, SAP CRM, etc). Utilize tools to improve sales performance.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales i.e. Managing Sales Pipeline.
  • Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face to face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking.
  • Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales.
  • Consult with prospects about business challenges and requirements, as well as the range of options and cost benefits of each.
  • Make presentations to senior managers and decision-makers.
  • Draft and deliver proposals including quotations, negotiations and price finalization
  • Work with technical staff and product specialists where required to address customer requirements.
  • Report on sales activity
  • Provide feedback to sales management on ways to decrease the sales cycle, enhance sales, and improve company brand and reputation
  • Manage territory selling expenses in line with corporate budget objectives and scale of business.
