Sales Engineer / Rep, West Rand – R 15 000 CTC + Comm

SUMMARY:
Market leading electrical testing provider based in the heart of Randburg, requires a true hunter of a Sales Engineer / Representative to join their pack

POSITION INFO:

Having been in the industry for decades & with an established portfolio of notable clients in the utilities, mining & petrochem industries, who wouldn’t want to join? This opportunity would best suit the incumbent to have sound knowledge of mining & electrical equipment, especially with regard to testing machinery & installations. Over & above product sales, your portfolio will also cover calibrations, repairs, training &, if equipment is not required, offer field services alternatives. Given the intense & competitive nature of the game, you’ll need to be thick-skinned & have a never-say-die attitude. But you already have that edge, don’t you? You have that motivation to rake in the big bucks $$$. With an intensive interview process, we’ll be able to separate the lions from the cubs

Minimum requirements:

Essential:

• Matric / Grade 12
• Relevant experience & knowledge of the industry & products within
• Stable & proven track record of reaching/exceeding targets (proof will be required)
• Own reliable transport & valid driver’s license

Duties & responsibilities:

• Take charge of expanding the business by looking for new clients in new & existing sectors
• Promote & sell our products/services to existing & prospective customers
• Establish, develop & maintain positive business & customer relationships
• Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems & complaints to maximise satisfaction
• Analyse the market’s potential, track sales & provide status reports
• Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, & potential for new products & services
• Keep abreast of best practices & promotional trends
• Travel to clients as & when required

Remuneration & benefits:

• R 15 000 CTC (negotiable on experience) (please note that the cost to company does not comprise of benefits such as medical aid, provident fund, etc.)
• Lucrative commission starting from the first Rand!
• Lucrative performance bonus structure – potential 13^th, 14^th & 15^th cheques (with the latter coming in the form of an overseas trip – fancy an all-expenses paid trip with your family to Mauritius??)
• Assistance with paying for studies
• Vehicle allowance + insurance (tracking device will be fitted to vehicle)
• Any work-related travel will be paid for
