POSITION INFO:

Leading independent provider of integrated power solutions that encompass all relevant data centre products and services and those needed for energy management in any building. Based in Johannesburg.

For the position you would be required to have:

• National Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering
• Sound knowledge of protection, rectifiers, batteries, energy generation and storage
• Communication protocols such as Modbus RTU and SNMP
• Understanding of IT infrastructure and how subsystems report back to monitoring tools
• Batteries, Telecom Powers Solutions (TPS), Monitoring tools, fibre

Responsibilities would include you to:

• Client (new and existing) visits for new business generation
• Managing of post sales experience with clients and following up
• Visit consultants and assist in writing of technical specifications and design of power systems for projects.
• Manage the order book for the rectifiers and lithium batteries (and all products relating to it) to ensure stock is always at a healthy level
• Grow distribution business and work with system integrators to use and properly deploy the Delta TPS system and surrounding products.
• Complete basic training to clients and their technicians.
• Diagnose problems from the client based on their feedback and provide adequate solutions to overcome the problem.
• Interact with Delta TPS team and specify systems for clients.
• Design bespoke DC systems for clients to complete POP (point of presence) and BTS (base transceiver station) type sites
• Design of bespoke monitoring systems for clients to address.
