We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and an engaged Technical Sales Engineer /Representative to drive Process Weighing solutions and Batching Applications sales within the food, pharmaceutical, Pulp and Paper, chemical, mining and general industries. In this role, you will be required to source new customers and business contacts, demonstrate the technical features of our product range, close sales, and maintain strong customer relations. This role also includes continuing of building relationships with the current client base through key account management. The role expects the incumbent to ensure targets are achieved as a Technical Sales Engineer / Representative, to have strong knowledge of technical products, a passion for sales, and the availability to travel within Gauteng and surrounding regularly. Ultimately, a top-class Technical Sales Engineer / Representative will drive business objectives by understanding the individual business and / production needs of the client ensuring need satisfaction offerings and provision of the appropriate solutions.

REQUIREMENTS: The suitable applicant is required to meet the following:

Qualifications required: 

• Matric Essential
• Related technical qualifications
• Valid driving license with own car

 Experience required: 

• Min  1-3 years technical sales experience within the Process Weighing solutions and Batch applications industry
• Strong knowledge of various Silo/ Hopper/ industrial/ mechanical/ platform weighing systems, Load Cell systems, Loss-in-weight, /gain-in weight systems. Calibrating weights, beam scales, pneumatic/ electrical /hydraulic vibrators, Flow/side/ disc/ butterfly/ isolation valves, Material Discharge aids, Mechanical Exciters, Metal removing equipment and detection systems, Milling & sifting equipment, Filtration systems, feeders and magnetic systems
• Ability to meet sales targets.
• Knowledge of computer systems and Office Software.
• Must be able to travel locally (30-50% of work)
• Must have a good understanding of Forex

DUTIES: the ideal applicant will be required to perform the following duties and should display the below listed KPA’s in their CV’s and during the interview.

• Sourcing new business and grow market share
• Key account management by maintaining regular contact with existing customers.
• Perform client need analysis
• Demonstrating the technical features and benefits of our products.
• Advising customers on technology upgrades and related products.
• Preparing quotations, tender documents and customer proposals
• Following up on service quotations, breakdowns and calibrations
• Upselling of current products and replacements thereof.
• Generating confirmation of sales orders, purchase orders and ensuring all information ties up.
• Meeting monthly sales targets.
• Liaison with of overseas and local suppliers
• Updating clients on the progress of their orders.
• Co-ordinating repair work with Operations Member.
• Providing sales reports to management
• After Sales care
