SUMMARY:
This Leader in distribution of cable and networking systems is in the process of expanding their Cape Town Operations in Durbanville Hills and a position for a Sales Coordinator (Internal Sales) has become available.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:

  • Matric/NQF4
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a technical orientated customer services/sales role
  • Fully Bilingual (Afrikaans & English)
  • Computer Literate in all MS Office Suite Applications
  • Working Hours Mon – Thurs, 08h00 – 17h00 & Friday 08h00 – 16h00
  • Must be available for stock take process once a month (during week after hours)
  • Own reliable transport/ transport arrangements

 

Key Performance Areas:

  • Process sales orders and quotations received from customers
  • Liaise with and support dispatch department regarding dispatching instructions
  • Liaise with and support purchasing department regarding nonstock items for pricing and buying when necessary for sales orders and quotations
  • Liaise with and support accounts department when new accounts / applications, accounts on hold and accounts over credit limit
  • Liaise with, support and process when requested by external sales representatives or manager effectively
  • Identify, research, and resolve customer issues
  • Assist with sales plan for growing the company’s client base
  • Identify top prospects that will be targeted for active pursuit
  • Manage sales and pricing to allow achievement of Company Margins
  • Provide customers with product and service information and support
  • Follow up on quotations
  • Attend sales meetings and training sessions
  • Complete any sales related reports as requested by company
  • Recognize, document and alert sales manager of trends, recommendations in customer buying
  • Assist with the launch and implementation of new products
  • Stock take: Manage department allocated
  • Report directly to Internal Sales Manager

 

This employment opportunity will offer a Guaranteed Monthly Salary and after successful completion of the 3-month probation period the Company will then contribute towards Medical Aid and Provident Fund.
