POSITION INFO:

This is a functional sales role: Act as Sales Rep in the South African market, responsible for achieving the sales revenue target and for sales effectiveness in the MEA market.

The Sales Rep has overall accountability as primary SA market. Areas of responsibility include Price Netotiation, Calculation/Aproving Price Adjustment, Contract Negotiations, Current and Potential Customer Tracking, Customer Portfolio Definition, Contract/Spot Fulfilment, and strong Customer Relationsip Management.

The Sales Rep interacts with customers, Company HQ in Europe, representatives and agents WITHIN the MEA market WITH the objective of achieving superior sales volumes, optimum revenues, high quality order fulfillment and maximum customer satisfaction.

Accountable for Sales budget, quotations and orders on SAP system, Visit of customers, Logistics re vessels from port authorities, Sales reports, Sales Marketing.

Experience in sales and marketing with the knowledge to implement sales principles and strategies related to industrial products. You will have the ability to negotiate and manage contractual arrangements, lead, train and coach commercials and have the ability to run and manage effective meetings and presentation skills.

Qualification

Matric with a University Degree in Business or Marketing or Engineering

Excellent command of English

At least 8 years working experience in a similar position

This position is ideal for a candidate with strong technical/chemical understanding or skills. You will negotiate with manufacturing affiliates, marketing and supply chain and the companies regional and country offices.
