Sales Assistant (Pro Shop)

We are now accepting applications for a Sales Assistant at The Links Pro Shop.
 
The ideal candidate will be a good communicator, friendly and must be able to provide guests/ members with an excellent service and must be reliable, honest and organised. We are looking for someone with a minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent with 6 months’ experience in a retail & sales environment, as well as 1 years’ experience in a golf environment. Computer literacy on MS Office suite and working knowledge of knowledge of golf & hotel property management systems will be an added advantage.
 
Duties include, but are not limited to: 

• Making bookings and check-in of golfers;
• Providing exceptional service and maximising retail sales;
• Assisting with departmental inventory on a regular basis;
• Up-selling of merchandise, resort amenities and services;
• General administrative duties.

 Adverse working conditions:      

• Must be prepared to work weekends & Public holidays;
• Must be prepared to work shifts.
