SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Sales Assistant (Plumbing) for a contract post based near Gonubie in East London, Eastern Cape

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

Matric with technical knowledge in terms of plumbing items & measurements
2+ years’ experience as a sales assistant in a plumbing / hardware type environment
Good knowledge of fittings / valves / pumps
Good customer service skills and communication ability in English
Candidate must ideally be based near Gonubie / Beacon Bay North area
Must be available with short notice for contract duration (3 months)
Clear criminal record & contactable references

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

Sales assistance to customers – both walk in and telephonic
Sales of plumbing items, fitting, bolts, valves, pumps
General admin duties as required
Stock take duties on occasion
This position is strictly an Equity role

Salary: Negotiable
