SUMMARY:
My client based on the West Rand is looking for a dynamic Sales Assistant to join their team

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The suitable candidate must have the following:

Grade 12 (minimum) with mathematical skills
Valid drivers license essential with own car
Experience within a hardware retail environment
Working knowledge of MS Office
Proficient in both English and Afrikaans
Must be familiar with and have the ability to use power tools (e.g. drill)
Must be physically fit and able to move stock
Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
Problem solving and relationship management skills

The suitable candidate will be responsible for the following:

Generating of sales
Receiving and processing of sales in store, online or via telephone and/or email
Assessments on site
All sales related administration (Quotes, Sales Orders, Invoices and Credit Notes)
Stock control
Handling and resolving customer queries and complaints from start to finish
Act as a single point of contact for customers
