SUMMARY:
My client based on the West Rand is looking for a dynamic Sales Assistant to join their team

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The suitable candidate must have the following:
  • Grade 12 (minimum) with mathematical skills
  • Valid drivers license essential with own car
  • Experience within a hardware retail environment
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Proficient in both English and Afrikaans
  • Must be familiar with and have the ability to use power tools (e.g. drill)
  • Must be physically fit and able to move stock
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Problem solving and relationship management skills
The suitable candidate will be responsible for the following:
  • Generating of sales
  • Receiving and processing of sales in store, online or via telephone and/or email
  • Assessments on site
  • All sales related administration (Quotes, Sales Orders, Invoices and Credit Notes)
  • Stock control
  • Handling and resolving customer queries and complaints from start to finish
  • Act as a single point of contact for customers
