Sales Assistant

SUMMARY:
Our client, a well-established company based in Cape Town, is seeking an experienced Sales Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will have strong sales and customer relationship experience, with the ability to manage the sales process and provide excellent client service.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12
• 3–5 years’ relevant sales experience
• Previous experience in a senior sales, sales support or customer-facing role
• Strong knowledge of sales processes and customer relationship management
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong computer literacy and MS Office skills
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Confident, self-motivated and target driven
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Manage customer enquiries and assist with the full sales process
• Prepare quotations, process orders and follow up on sales
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Identify sales opportunities and contribute towards achieving targets
• Handle customer queries and resolve issues efficiently
• Assist with sales administration, reporting and stock coordination
• Support the sales team and ensure smooth day-to-day sales operations.
