Southern Oil Pty Ltd, an established company and market leader in manufacturing Canola oil and related products in the retail, food services, and bulk sectors, has the following exciting career opportunity in Swellendam.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Short Summary:

The primary responsibility of this position is to capture and process sales transactions accurately and timeously in the company systems.
You will need to communicate with all stakeholders to ensure that the sales process is managed and completed with the highest quality of customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Sales Planning
    • Collect customer volumes and planning information from Key Account Managers and Business Development Representatives.
    • Load the MRP packed and bulk products accurately in SAP and on the MRP system.
    • Draft monthly Sales orders in planning and load a month in advance.
    • Send weekly planning reports sent to Key Account Managers and Business Development Representatives for input and confirmation.
    • Manage and update the BA and MRP reports regularly.
  • Sales Contract System
    • Ensure the correct information has been loaded.
    • Plan volumes according to the Sales Planning System.
    • Ensure contract numbers and details are captured in SAP and PCS.
  • PCS System
    • Load special prices to ensure notifications are complete.
    • Generate and send monthly price notifications.
    • Update customer and sales detail as and when necessary.
    • Load customer orders accurately with all relevant information.
    • Add all relevant documents to Sales orders.
    • Follow through on Finance approvals.
  • Communication
    • Follow through on schedules and deliveries.
    • Follow through with approvals on Sales orders.
    • Provide feedback to relevant parties on orders, approvals, and deliveries.
    • Follow up and request relevant certifications and test reports.
Key Competencies:

Education and Experience

  • Sales Management or Customer Service Management Diploma
  • Two years of experience in a Customer Sales or Service environment
  • Experience in SAP, CRM and other Sales Management Systems is an advantage
