JOB DESCRIPTION:

Short Summary:

The primary responsibility of this position is to process and manage all transactions regarding sales to smaller feed and Sifsel customers.
It also includes accurate processing, pricing, customer communication, and assisting in the factory shop with direct sales processing.

Responsibilities:
  • Feed Sales
    • A primary focus on feed and Sifsel customer sales and processing.
    • A secondary focus on the factory shop for assistance and processing.
  • PCS System and Sales Processes
    • Load planning and demand in SAP and on-Blanket agreements.
    • Move Blanket agreements according to sales orders and confirmed these orders.
    • Keep demand updated in Blanket agreements for up to 12 months.
    • Ensure special prices are loaded and notifications are done.
    • Ensure monthly price notifications are generated, sent and saved.
    • Update customer and sales detail as necessary.
    • Load customer orders with all relevant information correctly.
    • Load small orders from external warehouses.
    • Load draft sales orders and manage open sales orders reports.
    • Add all relevant documents to orders.
    • Follow through on Finance approvals.
    • Responsible for Sifsel feed sales to farmers.
    • Opening of Sifsel client cash accounts and small client cash applications.
    • Responsible for sales orders on Sifsel wastage and communication to farmers.
    • Managing Sifsel stock on-site and generating sales orders.
  • Communication
    • Follow through on deliveries and schedules including changes on relevant templates.
    • Follow through with approvals on sales orders.
    • Follow up and request relevant certifications and test reports.
    • Provide feedback to the customer and Key Accounts Manager on all orders.
    • Communicate sales and pricing to smaller clients that order small quantities.
    • Communicate system prices to customers where needed.
  • Factory Shop Assistance
    • Daily replenishment of SOILL stock from stores.
    • Stocktake weekly of all snack items and create an order list.
    • Place weekly stock orders for snack items from registered Vendors in advance.
    • Load stock volumes in the SAP system.
    • Stock replenishment on shelves.
    • Boost damage stock sales.
    • Load donations and follow up on product and delivery.
    • Conduct monthly stock take with no stock variances.
    • Load purchase orders in the RSA system and follow up on approvals.
    • Cash up daily on both 4POS and SAP to balanced.
    • Load new prices in 4POS and SAP.
    • File daily cash ups in Z-drive files.
    • Process invoices in SAP.
    • Assist customers with their purchases.
    • Completing customer sales purchases on 4POS.
    • Load purchase orders in the RSA system and follow up on approvals.
Key Competencies:

Education and Experience

  • Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 with subjects like Life Science and Computer Applications
  • Experience in a Retail, Customer-Service and Stock Management environment
  • SAP, CRM and other Sales Management Systems experience will be an advantage
