SUMMARY:
Sales Administrator – Stellenbosch (CPT) – 4-month Temp position – R14k/month – IMMEDIATELY START - open to all

POSITION INFO:

Our well-established client in the Stellenbosch area is looking for a polite and courteous temp. Sales Administrator to fill in for +/-4 months whilst their Sales Administrator is maternity leave.  Your natural sales ability and attention to detail is essential. 

Duties (include but are not limited to):

  • Incoming telephone calls, either on reception duty or picking up overflow calls, directing it professionally to the relevant person/department
  • Quoting clients: Telephonic, verbal quotations, email quotations from Pastel
  • Physically selling our products to walk-in clients – in-house training we will provide on the products manufactured and sold
  • Issuing invoices & administration to the correct logistics section:  Only when a valid purchase order is received, in the event of an account client, only when payment is received, in the event of a cash client
  • Receiving payment, either in card or cash, from walk-in clients
  • Email and telephonic correspondence with clients
  • Administrating return of pallets and bricks as per company policy
  • Archiving of sales paperwork when necessary
  • Ad hoc duties as operationally necessary

 

Requirements:

  • Own Transport
  • Matric certificate/Qualification
  • Pastel
  • Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

 

Work hours:

Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 17:00

Friday: 07:00 – 15:00
