Sales Admin and Key Account Manager - Must have SAP and technical industry experience

Technical Experience required for this Sales / KAM position: Could have the following industry experience: Power Resistors, Contactors, High-speed Circuit Breakers, Protection Relays and Specialised Fans or similar

Performs the sales and key customer liaison role for the organisation, processing and reconciling of customer quoting and invoicing. Performs the day-to-day operations and administration tasks as required to support the role.

Experience:

4 - 6 years similar experience

Sales processing & account administration
SAP ERP (preferably SAP Business One)
Microsoft Excel (Advanced)
Technical and/or electrical Sales

Primary customer liaison, both internally and externally
Monitor customer demand and provide feedback internally
Administration and management of quotations, sales orders and invoices in SAP and check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, and proper code
Forecast sales and pass information to production for scheduling
Develop, present, or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions
Attending to customer account queries, providing statements/remittances and following up of Overdues with the assistance of the Finance Dept.
Ensuring timeous and accurate reporting and that monthly sales deadlines are met
Maintain active customer contact list, initiate and drive the ‘Customer Satisfaction Survey’ process
Provide support within other Dept’s when required, including assisting during year-end audits and stock take
