Calling all Safety officers!

POSITION INFO:

My client, a leading manufacturing company based in Killarney Gardens requires a competent and experienced Safety officer to join their team.

Requirements:

SHEQ Qualification

Health and Safety

Grade12 with Pure Mathematics (NOT MATHS LITERACY)

Experience of Internal & External Audit requirements

Samtrac

ISO9001:2015, 14001:2015 & 22000:2018

At least 4 to 5 years applicable experience in the manufacturing Industry

Knowledge about food safety standards

SA Citizens only

Must be Criminal clear.

Must reside in the Greater Cape Town area.

Duties:

Ensuring the quality conformance of raw material and components

Internal and External Audits (ISO,SABS)

Must be willing to be appointed as First Aider, SHE Rep or any other statutory appointment related to the position

Ensure factory is ISO compliant

Quality testing of raw materials and components

Conforming to SABS standards

Quality related Document control/training

Managing security on site

Reporting on H&S issues to Head Office

Reporting on all incidents on site

Emergency Evacuation

Knowledge about food safety standards
