Safety Officer required for February 2022.
ONLY open for a Redelinghuys resident

POSITION INFO:
Must be resident in the Redelinghuys area of Western Cape

Experience required - 5 to 8 years experience gained on building projects

Education required - NOSA or SAMTRAC

Duties:

Identify potential Health, Safety and Environmental hazards
Review the effectiveness of health, safety and environmental measures
Attend the health, safety and environmental committee meetings
Maintain filing systems regarding workers training and safety
Oversee environmental impact management
Ensuring Health and Safety Compliance
Compile and update Health & Safety file
Perform risk assessment in areas of responsibility
Develop Occupational Health Safety operations plans and Environmental management systems
Participate in any internal Health and Safety Audits
Providing advice, assist and audit line management to ensure that EHS is implemented and working

Our Client has a Citrus Packing Plant project in the Redelinghuys area that is a village in the Bergrivier Local Municipality in the Western Cape province of South Africa, located about 160 kilometres north of Cape Town on the Verlorevlei River.

A limited duration Contract of Employment shall be offered
