Female Safety Officer required. BTech in Safety Management or Environmental Health. SAMTRACT Certificate. Sound knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 standards. 4-5 Years'' managing safety in a Manufacturing environment. No job hoppers.

POSITION INFO:

SAFETY OFFICER

REQUIRED FOR:

2 x Factories & Factory Shop / Krugersdorp

Monthly Salary (Negotiable according to knowledge, expertise, skills set, qualifications and experience)

Benefits: Monthly salary; Medical Aid contribution; Pension/Provident; 13^th cheque; 2 x annual incentives.

REQUIREMENTS:

Academic qualifications requirements

Minimum requirements - Degree or Diploma in Safety Management OR Environmental Health
B Tech in Safety Management OR Environmental Health would be an added advantage
SAMTRAC Certificate
Sound knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 standards
3- 5 years’ experience managing safety, health and risk management within a manufacturing environment

Key responsibilities

Manage and oversee day-to-day OHS Co-ordination and responsibilities
Assist with ISO Systems and QA/QC Support
Manage and coordinate mandatory Safety Meetings
Responsible for SHE related training requirements
Incident Management
Site Risk Management
Ensure Site Environmental management compliance
Ensure Site OHS management compliance
Liaison with local municipalities and relevant departments for statutory OHS compliance
