Safety Officer

SUMMARY:
Safety Officer required for a building contract based in Boitekong, Rustenberg area. Must be registered as Safety Officer with SACPCMP

POSITION INFO:

Preference shall be given to a Safety Officer who has at least 8 years experience working experience with a building contractor on a Shopping Mall

Must be registered as Safety Officer with SACPCMP

Duties:

• Carry out inspections and audits, in association with the site manager/ supervisor, to ensure that only safe and healthy methods of working are in operations in areas of responsibility
• Assist and provide daily, weekly and monthly reports to SHE manager
• Assist in the completion of site reports
• Effectively coordinate and control all matters relating to SHE
• Establish and enforce policies & procedures required for Health & Safety
• Health and Safety Audits & Audit compliance
• Develop and implement SHE (Safety, Health & Environmental) Management Systems in order to facilitate SHE Legal compliance for the operation of the sites
• Ensure HER Legal Compliance to all relevant and applicable Legislation
