SUMMARY:
Safety Officer Roads and Bridges in the Stanford area. Overberg region

POSITION INFO:

Duties:

• Ensure the OHS Act is adhered to
• Compile Safety Files for various works/project
• Inspection of all company vehicles, liaise with client safety officers and draw up job specific risk assessments, draw up health & safety plans
• Induction of new employees
• Guiding/Aiding the foremen with the safety file
• Inspection of rental properties
• Procurement and issuing of PPE
• Checking of time sheets and employees on site

Qualifications:

• 5 years experience with civil projects that ideally include roads and bridges is essential
• National Diploma in Health  Safety
