SUMMARY:
A safety administrator is responsible for ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, environmental regulations, and quality control, on-site and on client sites
POSITION INFO:
Key Performance Indicators
1. Client / Customer / Stakeholder communication
2. Assist in developing all the required documentation, operational checks and reports for the SHE Management System to be compliant with OHSAS 18001/2007 and ISO 14001/2004 standards, including corrective and 4 preventive measures (as a team with Safety Managers and / or Safety Officer of contractors)
3. Investigation and Corrective Actions Reporting
4. Investigate the root cause of SHE complaints put forward by staff members, customers clients and contractors and report the result to the SHEQ Manager
5. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly SHE reports, statistics and presentations related to SHE performance
6. Provide SHE improvement proposals, proposed corrective action, required resources for corrective action and plan of implementation on NCRs issued
7. Conduct pre implementation risk assessments on new sites if and when required and identify risk mitigation measures in conjunction with contractors

2 - 3 Years'''' experience in safety administration/system implementation.

Experience in Auditing of SHE management systems.

Sasol experience advantageous.

Based in Secunda.

Code 8 Drivers license.
