SUMMARY:
This is a great opportunity for a graduate who has little experience to enter into the Supply chain field. You will be responsible for supply chain processes within a very large warehouse environment.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Only candidates with completed degrees in Logistics/Supply chain or Industrial engineering will be considered as we are looking to employ an intellect who can assist with the analysing side of business as well.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Executing the daily work plan in conjunction with the Warehouse Manager.
Managing the daily volumes according to allocated daily hours..
Releasing work as per warehouse requirement and priority.
Ensuring all Pickers pick the minimum required rates daily.
Attend to aged orders and push out work in FIFO.
Ensuring that Pickers pick stock correctly and accurately.
Ensuring errors are managed and that there is continuous reduction in short, wrong, and over
deliveries.
Ensuring that all new and casual staff members are fully trained in all aspects of picking and packing processes.
Responsible for departmental and interdepartmental well-being.
Ensuring HR related issues are attended to.
Managing leave request in the department.
Ensuring good standards of Occupational Health and Safety.

Desired Experience & Qualification:

A completed degree in Logistics/Supply Chain/ Industrial Engineering essential.
A minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in a Logistics or Supply Chain environment/department.
Staff management experience would be advantageous.
Computer literacy (MS Office package)
Be hard working, driven, and goal orientated.
Be able to work effectively in a team and/or independently.
