POSITION INFO:

Leading company in the power tools & accessories industry is looking for a dynamic Supply Chain Administrator to join their team in Midrand.

We’re looking for a young, dynamic, highly functional candidate to assist with administrative tasks that involves (but not limited to) tracking deliveries and updating order records. If you’re familiar with supply chain, import & export procedures and have a passion for data accuracy, then we’d like to meet you!

An outstanding Supply Chain Administrator has an analytical mind, great interpersonal and negotiating skills, is a team player who has a friendly

demeanor and someone with excellent work ethics and attention to detail. To excel in this role, you need to be able to multi-task and

perform well under pressure.

Assist our Buyers with all supporting administrative duties.

ï‚· Update internal databases and systems with order details (dates, vendors, quantities etc.).

ï‚· Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers.

ï‚· Liaise with national and international suppliers and service providers via email and telephone.

ï‚· Track orders and ensure timely delivery.

ï‚· Maintain files and update records of invoices and contracts.

ï‚· Follow up with suppliers, as and when needed, to confirm or change orders.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

ï‚· 3 Years’ experience working in supply chain, import & export.

ï‚· Good understanding of supply chain procedures.

ï‚· Must have excellent organizational, administrative and clerical skills.

ï‚· Able to create and maintain good relationships with our suppliers.

ï‚· Good time-management skills.

ï‚· Great interpersonal and strong communication skills on various levels.

ï‚· Ability to handle pressure.

ï‚· Manage multiple instructions/tasks.

ï‚· Ability to handle and adapt to unexpected changes in your daily planning.

QUALIFICATION & KNOWLEDGE

ï‚· Matric Certificate.

ï‚· Qualification in Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field.

ï‚· Power tool & accessory product knowledge is a great advantage.

ï‚· Knowledge of Kerridge (K8) program will be advantageous.

ï‚· Proficient in MS Office including Excel.

ï‚· Mandarin speaking an advantage.

ï‚· Must have own transport.
