JOB DESCRIPTION:

RS Recruitment Services is assisting a well-established organisation in the INK MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY to recruit a STORES ADMINISTRATOR to be based at their head office in Muizenberg, CAPE TOWN. R12k to R15k ctc.

OUR CLIENT IS A LEADING MANUFACTURER, DISTRIBUTOR AND SUPPLIER OF SPECIALISED INKS, COATINGS AND ADHESIVES THROUGHOUT SOUTH AFRICA.

The purpose of the position of the STORES ADMINISTRATOR is to manage the systems and processes related to the day-to-day operations in the warehouse.

The ideal candidate should have/be the following:

Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.

Two years’ or more experience in a similar position in a warehouse environment.

Experience working on a stock administration system.

Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.

Able to create and maintain spreadsheets, use simple formulas and link data on Excel.

The physical ability to lift/carry containers of up to 25Kg.

A logical, systematic way of working and the ability to create and maintain an administration system.

A driver’s license.

Key responsibilities, but not limited to:

Securing and monitoring stock, maintaining accurate records and systems related to stock control and logistics.

Tracking, monitoring and proactively following up on all customer related activities.

Ensuring good customer service related to deliveries and collections.

Processing of sales orders.

Receiving, checking, labelling and storing stock.

Tracking stock transfers and returns.

Conducting stock counts.

Remuneration:

R12 000 to R15k ctc
