POSITION INFO:

We are looking for a SQL developer to work in a project to reform data extraction and reporting solution. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented with an inclination to numbers.

Responsibilities

Work as part of a larger IT team using the Scrum methodology.
Develop integration solutions using SQL and other integration toolS.
Develop reporting solutions; write SQL stored procedures to manipulate the data supplied by the source system and prepare it for reporting.
Design and create SSRS report definitions to present the data.
Optimising SQL queries to improve performance.

Skills/Competencies:

Attention to detail and quality.
Problem Solving
Ability to meet deadlines and deal with pressure.
Strong analytical skills.
Good communication

Experience:

5-8 years SQL dev experience (stored procedures, UDF’s, T-SQL, RDBMS, error handling,etc.) is essential
Strong working knowledge of Integration essential.
Strong working knowledge of SSRS is essential.

Qualifications:

Degree or diploma in information science or related technical discipline.
Financial Services industry experience would be an advantage.
