Our client an established an innovative IOT company seeks to appoint a talented, forward thinking Software Development Project Manager to compliment a multi-disciplinary operations team.   Take responsibility for leading a dynamic Development Team who will provide end-to-end development and delivery of software solutions with the primary objective to meet client expectation and timeous delivery.  The Development PM is accountable for ensuring that all the analysis, development and testing outputs meet the quality standards and business requirements throughout the Development Life Cycle.

Requirements: 

• IT, Project and /or Business Management qualification.
• Certificate in ITIL or Prince2 will be advantageous.
• Previous experience using AGILE Development methodology will be advantageous.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience within a Software Development environment
• A minimum of 3 years experience in managing a team.
• A proven track record of successful project delivery.

• Coding languages and principles (Python, Java, C Sharp)

Responsibilities:

• Create, Plan and Manage the development of software solutions.
• Oversee the ongoing drive to increase efficiency, optimisation, innovation and people development in these environments.
• Manage resourcing and capacity planning
• Leading and working in an agile development environment
• Crafting roadmaps
• Managing project budget
• Using technical skills to support and guide a technical team
• Establish priorities and successfully manage deliverables
• Deliver consistent release management, on time, on scope and withing the required quality standards
• Provide various progress reports
• Identify training needs in line with company goals and ensure team training takes place
• Responsible for continuous process improvement
• Manage client expectations and scope adjustments
• Manage Time Track reporting daily
• Manage backlog refinement with the client/Product Owner
• Manage, design, estimation and quality activities by ensuring design documentation quality, tracking actual vs estimates and maintaining a 95% success rate.
• Utilizing communication and relationship management skills to engage with stakeholders
• Using leadership to influence in other areas
