Job Description 

• Manage the distribution center ensuring all KPI are met or exceeded. The goal is to accomplish this by putting people first, empowering the workforce and ensuring a high level of employee engagement.
• Identify, implement and train staff on lean warehousing principles, leveraging best practices and the global community.
• Support the VPS key principles (LEAN principles).
• Create strong problem-solving culture ensuring all employees are engaged
• Lead continuous improvement activities throughout the DC driving improvements in all areas.
• Plan and direct performance of the operation to meet safety, cost, quality, people and environment targets.
• Develop a strong team and collaborative culture through regular communication ensuring daily team meetings, weekly management meetings, monthly town halls, etc.
• Ensure parts are available to customers on time and in the right quality.
• Engage in on-going performance management and career development dialogue with local team.
• Foster employee engagement through collaborative efforts, idea generation continuous improvement activities as measured by the Attitude Survey.
• Support other projects or assignments as directed by the NA Director.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings and workshops as required.
• Maintain compliance with company policy/procedures as required
• Promotes the DC values and culture
• Managing 200 employees 

Education and Experience

• Diploma in Business, Logistics / Supply Chain or Operations Management or equivalent experience
• 5 years minimum in warehousing or logistics.
• 3+ years demonstrated management/leadership and team building experience
• Experience working in cross-functional and multicultural teams
