POSITION INFO:

WE’RE HIRING: SHEQ Officer

Location: Germiston
Position Type: Permanent
Salary: R35 000 – R45 000 (depending on experience)

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented SHEQ Officer to join a dynamic team in Germiston. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and improving Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality standards across the business.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Quality, Health & Safety

• Internal and supplier audit experience

• ISO audit experience (ISO 9001:2015 advantageous)

• Formal qualification in Health & Safety / ISO

• Strong knowledge of SHEQ compliance and regulations

• Excellent organisational, reporting, and problem-solving skills

• Computer literacy (SAP experience advantageous)

• Valid driver’s licence and own transport

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct internal and supplier audits

• Ensure SHEQ compliance across operations

• Manage SHEQ documentation and reporting

• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions

• Conduct workplace inspections and risk assessments

• Support continuous improvement initiatives

• Promote a strong safety and quality culture
