SHEQ Auditor

SUMMARY:
Our client operating in the manufacturing sector is seeking an action-orientated SHEQ Auditor who displays high levels of problem-solving and analytical skills.

POSITION INFO:

You will be required to ensure the company complies with the necessary systems, regulatory and procedural requirements through the continuous auditing of SHEQ standards.

Education, Skills and Experience:

• Matric / Grade 12
• Certificate/ Diploma in Process and System Audits (NQF 5).
• Diploma in Auditing (NQF 6). (Advantageous)
• Up to 3 years’ SHEQ / Auditing or similar experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Computer Literacy (MS Office Suite and SAP, ERP Systems and other job-specific software systems).
• Communication skills (both verbal and written).

Key Role Responsibilities:

• Ensures the company conforms to all the SHEQ process and system requirements
• Assist in the prompt identification of the cause of any identified non-conformity
• Ensure ongoing SHEQ training of employees.
• Assists other delegated trained personnel in the execution of their duties.
• Document control to ensure all correspondence is safe and available for future use.
• Identifies and reports risks or areas of concern to management within the area of responsibility
• Ensures compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures
• Effective working relationships with customers towards rendering the highest quality of services
• Identifies and solves problems whilst demonstrating a high level of integrity
• Promotes the effective and transparent use of financial and other resources
• Controls expenditure within budgetary limits and company financial guidelines
• Explores opportunities to control and reduce costs
