In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing health, safety, and environmental compliance across all sites. This includes conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, contractor management, SHE reporting, and facilitating inductions, audits, and meetings. Your expertise in SHE systems, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance will be essential in ensuring a safe and sustainable working environment.
POSITION INFO:
To succeed in this role, you should have a Diploma in SHE Management with a SAMTRAC qualification and at least 5 years of applied experience in a manufacturing environment. Valid certifications as a First Aider, Fire Fighter, SHE Representative, and Incident and Accident Investigator are required. Proficiency in Office 365, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain flexible with standby availability are essential.
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills will be valuable, along with a practical, systems-driven approach to fostering a culture of safety and compliance.
