Our client specializes in project support for the (petro) chemical and maritime industries. They provide personnel in the areas of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, Maintenance, and Safety. They are seeking a SHE Officer (HVK).
POSITION INFO:

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:
- Degree or diploma in Safety, Environmental Management, or related field.
- Experience in SHE management in high-voltage or industrial settings.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards.
- Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
- Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).
Beneficial requirements:- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- SHE Officer certification or equivalent.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) systems in high-voltage (HV) environments.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Train staff on safety procedures and protocols.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommendations.
- Collaborate with management to create safety improvement plans.
