POSITION INFO:

Position Overview:

 

An exciting opportunity to join an Innovative Global Medical devices company. One will be expected to Lead and Coordinate all the company’s initiatives for all countries of the Diagnostics Management Centre for South Africa. The position will involve overseeing the implementation of policies and requirements of the company management system in the different sites and legal entities.

 

Also, compliance with environmental, health, safety and related industry regulations established by applicable laws and company internal rules and promote training with the personal development of staff in terms of the company processes and standards. But not limited only to Gauteng.

 

Main focus areas of this role include:

             SHE Implementation Management (South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa)

             SHE Coordination

             Employee Wellness Programme Management

             Financial Management

             Staff Leadership and Management

             Risk Management

             WSMP Auditing & Inspection

             Emergency / Management

             SHE Management System

             H&S Policy, Directives and Guidelines

 

Essential Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required:

Minimum Requirements:

             Technical professional education, NQF 7 / 8 in SHE or associated fields

             Extension studies in SHE

             5 Years + working experience in a SHE role within a multinational medical device environment

             3+ Years’ experience in a leadership position

             Master’s degree in a technical discipline preferred
