POSITION INFO:

Automotive Manufacturing
Job Purpose:
Identify and eliminate workplace safety, health, and environmental (SHE) risks.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12
- National Diploma in Safety Management or Environmental Health
- SAMTRAC certified
- Computer literacy
- At least 5 years’ SHE experience in a manufacturing plant
- Solid knowledge of ISO 14001 & 45001
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce and monitor compliance with SHE policies and procedures
- Ensure adherence to legislation and safe operating practices
- Conduct and report on risk assessments, planned task observations, and SHE audits
- Identify and address workplace hazards and implement improvements
- Carry out preliminary incident investigations and respond to SHE incidents
- Maintain SHE management systems and notice boards
- Compile monthly SHE reports
