SHE Co-ordinator

SUMMARY:
Our client, a national manufacturing concern, currently seeks a SHE Co-ordinator to identify and eliminate all potential risks in the workplace.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Matric.
• National Diploma in Safety Management / Environmental Health.
• SAMTRAC.
• Minimum 2 years relevant SHE experience.

Key Performance Areas:

• SHE Policies and Procedures:
• Ensure implementation and compliance of SHE Policies and Procedures;
• Operate according to standard operating procedures and within the parameters of applicable legislation.
• SHE Management:
• Implement and maintain adherence to safe working practices and policies;
• Monitor compliance to safety, health and environmental requirements in the workplace;
• Maintain health, safety and security standards are maintained at all times;
• Conduct Planned Task Observations and take appropriate action to address identified risks.
• SHE Management System - Comply with the requirements of the SHE Management system.
• SHE Audits - Co-ordinates SHE and Risk Audits.
• Risk Assessments - Identify potential hazards and critical safety issues in the workplace.
• Incident/Accident Investigations - Conduct preliminary incident investigations into workplace health, safety and environmental incidents.
• SHE Administration - Maintain and update SHE notice boards.
• Deal with safeTy, health and environmental emergencies.
