Our client, a leading Automotive manufacturing company, currently seeks your SHE experience to identify and eliminate all potential risks in the workplace.
POSITION INFO:
Minimum Job Requirements:
- National Diploma in Safety Management.
- Minimum 3 years experience within a SHE department.
The Job:Report to the Plant Manager:
- SHE Policies and Procedures:
- Ensure implementation and compliance of SHE policies and procedures.
- Operate according to standard operating procedures and within the parameters of applicable legislation.
- SHE Management:
- Implement and maintain adherence to safe working practices and policies.
- Monitor compliance to safety, health and environmental requirements.
- Maintain health, safety and security standards are always maintained.
- Conduct Planned Task Observations and take appropriate action to address identified risks.
- Conduct incident investigations.
- Attend SHE meetings and perform duties of a Secretariat.
- SHE Management System:
- Maintain ISO14001 and ISO45001 Safety Management system requirements.
- SHE Audits:
- Conduct SHE and risk audits.
- Risk Assessments:
- Identify potential hazards and critical safety issues.
- Incident/Accident Investigations:
- Conduct preliminary incident investigations into workplace health, safety and environmental incidents.
- Make recommendations and manage the implementation of corrective actions
- SHE Administration:
- Maintain and update SHE notice boards.
- Training:
- Co-ordinate emergency evacuation drills.
- Conduct Tool box talks and safety awareness training.
- Assist with SHE induction training.
