SUMMARY:
Our client in the Retail Industry is currently seeking a Sewing Machine Mechanic to be based at their manufacturing plant in Parow, Cape Town

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements

  • Sewing-Machine Mechanics and Maintenance or similar trade
  • Experience adjusting machine parts
  • Experience regulating the length and stroke of the needle
  • Setting the timing experience
  • Experience dismantling machines and replacing worn or broken parts
  • Experience inspecting shafts and belts and repairing broken transmission belts and motors
  • Experience installing new specified parts on machines.
  • Technical and mechanical aptitude
  • Agility to work efficiently with your hands
