Hybrid model -at least 2 times a week in the office. First two weeks will be full time at the office

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1 x Snr Test Lead

1 x Snr Tester

Hybrid model – at least 2 times a week in the office. First two weeks will be full time at the office.

Domain experience:

Test case creation, linking test cases, traceability, etc.
Systems – primarily based on financial transactions.
Request is received for debit order – money is split between brokers, insurance company, etc.
Very back-end driven. Batch jobs and bulk processing. High volumes.
Understand the non-functional aspects.
Database tables, how it is saved in the database, etc.

Test Lead Objective:

Lead team, but very hands on. Will only be the lead and 1 Snr Tester for now, team may grow
Establish and run the testing intervention for development
Assess and evaluate environment and whether automation is required and recommend automation tools. Must be willing to get hands dirty and get involved in the actual implementation of the automation.
Compile test strategy document, but it must be pragmatic. Don’t want test book documents.
Very good grasp pragmatically of how you establish and execute a test plan for a bespoke solution development
Domain experience – backend batch processing, UAT Testing
Understanding of automation – demonstrate what type of tool kits they have for automation
Demonstrate an understanding of our solution domain and demonstrate how they can put together a coherent test plan for that.

Snr Tester objectives:

Put together test plans, ensure test plans are executed, etc
Regression testing
Back-end testing
Volume of testing is quite high
Introduce some level of automation
