SENIOR LEGAL ADVISOR

SUMMARY:
A reputable Company within the Labour Law and Human Resource Management Industry, based in the NORTH WEST PROVINCE and within the Rustenburg area, is recruiting for an experienced, qualified and skilled Senior Legal Advisor.

POSITION INFO:

Experience

The successful incumbent must possess at least three years’ experience with reference to the chairing of disciplinary hearings, the resolution and litigation of labour disputes, drafting of employment contracts and policies, facilitating retrenchment processes, managing industrial action etc.

Formal qualifications

• A minimum of an LLB Degree
• Valid driving license code 08
• Computer literacy with regards to MS Office package

Responsibilities

• The drafting of charge sheets
• Chairing of disciplinary hearings
• Representation at the CCMA and Bargaining Councils
• Drafting of employment contracts
• Drafting of policies, wage agreement, recognition agreements etc.
• Facilitating dismissal processes based on operational requirements
• Managing industrial action and following the prescribed processes
• Union negotiations
• Presenting labour law related training
• Conducting research regarding relevant Labour Law topics
• To provide sound legal advice and an exceptional service to our clients
• Knowledge of Labour Court procedure and pleadings.
