SENIOR CUSTOMS CLERK

POSITION INFO:

RedCat Recruitment is seeking an experienced SENIOR CUSTOMS CLERK – position based in Durban.

REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12.
Logistics Diploma will be an advantage.
At least intermediate excel level.
Working experience of 4 – 5 years in Operations through Export activities for Medium / Large business.
Working knowledge of Compuclear.
Epicor knowledge an advantage.
Solid clearing and forwarding exports experience required.
Sound knowledge of shipping documents & procedures is ESSENTIAL!
Tariff classifications working experience is ESSENTIAL!
Previous working experience with engaging with customs on issues is ESSENTIAL!
Minimum 6 years customs working experience is ESSENTIAL!

Salary package offered: - R25 000 – R35 000 per month (depending on experience)
