SCM Consultant - 3 Month contract

SUMMARY:

We are seeking a SCM Consultant for a 3-month contract, based in East London, Eastern Cape.

POSITION INFO:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
 

• Master’s Degree or equivalent in Procurement Management, Logistics or Finance
• Registered member of CIPS
• 10+ years’ experience in Supply Chain Management environment
• Sound knowledge of the international donor funded organization procurement processes including procurement of health products
• Vast experience of the NGO Management environment or compliance driven government sector
• Advanced proficiency in Sage and MS Office
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively
• Knowledge of at least one other South African language
• Please note this is a 3 month contract position

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Operationalize SCM unit (customized policies / SOP’s, people and processes)
• Advice SCM on the best practices relating to the Global Fund guidelines for the procurement of health products

 
Salary:  Negotiable for the 3-month contract period
