SALES REPRESENTATIVE (RETAIL PUMPS) - GAUTENG 4102

SUMMARY:
Our client, a leading stockist of a wide range of water pumps and accessories requires an experienced sales representative to call on the petrochemical building, pharmaceutical, chemical, engineering, agricultural and related industries.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 / equivalent

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3  years working experience in the retail Pumps industry is essential
• Technically minded
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
• Have a stable work record and contactable references
• Valid South African Drivers license and own reliable transport
• Able to work under pressure and meet sales targets
• Able to select a pump for a customer (waste & dewatering pumps, engineering pumps, submersible, centrifugal, mono and related pumps

 Duties & Responsibilities:

• Carry out daily visits to new clients
• Meet sales targets
• Promote products
• Report sales trends
• Monitor competitor activity
• Prepare and present visit plans and reports on a weekly basis
• Strong selling skills  and product knowledge in the fluid control industry
• Some professional training in Marketing, and being able to speak English and Afrikaans fluently
• Skills in Networking and Negotiating
