SUMMARY:
Our client requires a candidate with strong trading experience in the Steel & Tube industry, to call on new and existing customers and increase market awareness.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications:

Grade 12 / equivalent

Experience and Requirements:

3 or more years’ recent sales experience, reselling of steel and tube is essential
Valid driver’s license (a company vehicle will be provided)
To call on the mining and related industries within the steelpoort, Lydenburg and surrounding areas
Must be bilingual in English and Afrikaans
Reside in Witbank / Surrounding areas
Familiar with customers in and around Witbank
Strong trading and negotiating skills
Ability to close a deal
A stable work record and have contactable references
Please note you will be required to work Retail Hours: Monday to Thursday 07h30 – 17h00 and Fridays until 16h30 as well as alternative Saturdays and Public Holidays from 08h00 – 13h00

Duties and Responsibilities:

You will be required to service new and existing customers
Reach and exceed sales targets
Quote customers
Build and maintain relationships with customers
Increase market share
Offer technical advice to Customers
Follow up on outstanding orders
Work closely with the sales team
