SUMMARY:
Our client, manufacturers of quality fencing products, wire and galvanised wire products are looking for a diverse, talented, and passionate employee to join their team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

­­­­­­­­­­­­Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 / equivalent

 

Experience and Requirements:

  • 3 or more years’ recent experience reselling galvanised wire, barbed wire, diamond mesh, welded mesh, netting wire, field fence, hard drawn and ribbed wire, posts, stays and gates
  • A proven track record in fencing and wire products is essential and not negotiable
  • Valid driver’s license (Own reliable transport as you will be required to use your car to call on customers) a car allowance will be provided
  • Strong trading and negotiating skills
  • Able to close a deal
  • Computer literate
  • A stable work record and have contactable references

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • You will be required to service new and existing customers
  • Reach and exceed sales targets
  • Increase market share
  • Offer technical advice to Customers
  • Follow up on outstanding orders
  • Work closely with the sales team
  • Interact daily with Customers telephonically
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers
  • Assist Customers with their selections
  • Process and follow up on orders
  • Cold call for new business
