POSITION INFO:

RedCat Recruitment is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced SALES ENGINEER / REPRESENTATIVE for a well-established company based in the Durban area, KwaZulu-Natal.

JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12.

Degree or National Diploma in Sales and Marketing / Business Skills.

English speaking person (must be able to read / write / speak English competently).

Valid Code 08 driver’s license / own reliable transport.

Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet) (MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint & MS Project).

Experience using CRM software is an advantage.

Ability to read engineering drawings is advantageous.

Ability to do physical measurements and do required calculations.

3yrs+ previous experience in sales and marketing.

Proven track record in sales and especially selling services.

Experience in preparing quotes and proposals.

Experience selling recurring business / long term contracts to industrial customers.

Experience in planning and pricing projects is an advantage.

Experience with contracts and tenders is an advantage.

Experience with paint coatings, heavy duty coatings and or composites is an added advantage.

Source new business / clients.

Maintain client relationships.

Handle sales administration.

Internal sales (telephone sales).
