We are recruiting for a Sales Analyst with FMCG / Retail sector industry experience. This is a 3 month contract role within a large national FMCG company. This is an EE appointment.

SALES ANALYST – FMCG (3 Month contract)
Midrand, Gauteng

We are recruiting for a Sales Analyst with FMCG / Retail sector industry experience. This is a 3 month contract role within a large national FMCG company. This is an Employment Equity appointment.

Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Sales/Commerce/Marketing
3-5 Years’ experience as an Analyst (Sales – Retail or FMCG background)
Proven track record that demonstrates a strong Analytical ability
High level of proficiency in EXCEL
Above average level of proficiency in PowerPoint (ability to portray data in PowerPoint)
Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to interact at all levels.

Knowledge and experience on the following (preferred):

Acquiring data from primary and/or secondary data sources
Analysis of data pertaining to performance in the market
Working with external company to maintain customer base.
Identifying patterns and trends in data sets
Variance flagging to steer decisions
Preparation of reports based on analysis on a weekly / monthly / quarterly basis
Working alongside teams within the business
