Requirements:

• Relevant B Com or similar degree.
• Prior work experience in commerce, not as a trainee accountant, will be an added advantage
• Own reliable transport to travel to clients and a valid SA driver’s license
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans: Read, write, speak
• Diligent, neat, accurate, organised and demonstrates initiative
• Fully computer literate with MS Office

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• The position requires the candidate to carry out all the duties and responsibilities as a SAIPA trainee accountant and to enable the Employer to render auditing, accounting, tax and other services to its clients.
• Must have the intention to complete the full three-year SAIPA articles in order to qualify as a Professional Accountant (SA).
• Key tasks are the duties and competencies, as set out in the SAIPA logbook including accounting, auditing, taxation and administrative duties.
