JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for SAIPA Article clerks to join a growing and innovative accounting firm in Durbanville for their 2022 intake.
Some of your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Capture transactions in accounting records
  • Perform reconciliations
  • Perform bookkeeping to balance sheet
  • Interpreting clients' accounting records and compiling financial statements (IFRS for SME's)
  • Perform tax calculations and complete tax returns
  • Complete VAT returns
  • Assist accountants with various client matters, including administrative work
  • Resolve queries

Requirements:

  • Completed BCom, Management Accounting or Financial Management
  • Matric completed
  • Must be computer literate
  • MS Word and MS Excel
  • CaseWare (advantageous)
  • Own reliable transport
